During Tuesday’s trading session, shares of a leading digital payment and fintech infrastructure provider surged nearly 5 percent on BSE, after a bulk deal in which TATA Mutual Fund bought a 2.2 percent stake for Rs. 89 crores.
At 12:32 p.m., the shares of Network People Services Technologies Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 2,127.9 on BSE, up by around 2 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 2,084.7, with a market cap of Rs. 4,123 crores. The stock has delivered negative returns of over 7 percent in the last one year, but has gained by about 5 percent in the last one month.

In the latest bulk deal on the NSE, Tata Mutual Fund acquired 4.3 lakh equity shares in Network People Services Technologies Limited, equivalent to a 2.22 percent stake. The deal transaction was valued at nearly Rs. 89.2 crores, with shares changing hands at an average price of Rs. 2,073.99 per share.
On the sell side, promoters Savita Vashist offloaded 2.1 lakh shares (1.08 percent stake), Deepak Chand Thakur sold about 1.63 lakh shares (0.84 percent stake), and Ashish Aggarwal divested 1.6 lakh shares (0.82 percent stake). Combined, these transactions were valued at nearly Rs. 110.6 crores at an average price in the range of Rs. 2,074.02-Rs. 2,074.25 per share.
As of the June 2025 shareholding data available with the BSE, Savita Vashist held a 27.01 percent stake, while Deepak Chand Thakur and Ashish Aggarwal each held a 20.26 percent stake.

Network People Services reported a decline in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year decrease of around 43 percent from Rs. 58.8 crores in Q1 FY25 to Rs. 33.6 crores in Q1 FY26. Similarly, it reported a decline in net profit over the same period to Rs. 7.2 crores from Rs. 15.6 crores, marking a fall of around 54 percent YoY.
