Aurionpro Solutions won a Rs. 250 crore contract for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 & 4A AFC system, adding to recent Delhi and Chennai Metro wins, boosting its Urban Mobility portfolio under Tech Innovation Group.

During Wednesday’s trading session, shares of a global enterprise technology leader pioneering intuitive-tech through deep-tech IPs and scalable products surged nearly 9.4 percent on BSE, after securing an Urban Mobility Project worth Rs. 250 crores for Mumbai Metro.

At 12:37 p.m., the shares of Aurionpro Solutions Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 1,497.5 on BSE, up by around 9 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 1,376.3, with a market cap of Rs. 8,268 crores. The stock has delivered negative returns of around 11 percent in the last one year, and has fallen by over 8 percent in the last one month.

According to the latest regulatory filings, Aurionpro Solutions Limited has won a landmark Urban Mobility project in Mumbai, marking a major milestone for its Smart Transit and Urban Mobility business.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has awarded the company the contract to design, supply, implement, and maintain the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A.

Valued at nearly Rs. 250 crores, the multi-year project covers the end-to-end delivery and implementation of the solution, including central clearing house software (CCHS), ticketing, and payment hardware, followed by 5-year maintenance and support.

This order is one of the largest signed in Aurionpro’s history in the Urban Mobility space and adds strong momentum to the growing mobility portfolio in its Tech Innovation Group (TIG).

Following recent wins with Delhi Metro and Chennai Metro, Mumbai has now become the third major metro city in India to entrust Aurionpro with the development of its AFC system.

Aurionpro Solutions reported a significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year decrease of around 29 percent from Rs. 262 crores in Q1 FY25 to Rs. 337 crores in Q1 FY26. Similarly, it reported a marginal rise in net profit over the same period to Rs. 45 crores from Rs. 51 crores, marking a growth of around 13 percent YoY.
