This Kolkata-based Jewelry stock is in focus as it hit 5 percent Upper circuit following its business update for Q4FY25 with revenue growth of 19.40 percent YoY and strong guidance for Q1FY26.  

Share Price Movement

With a market capitalization of Rs. 5,203 Crore, the stock of Senco Gold Limited opened at Rs. 317.90, which is the 5 percent upper circuit mark when compared to yesterday’s close of Rs. 302.80. Additionally, the all-time return of the stocks since its listing is close to 57 percent.

Business Update & Guidance

The company reported its highest Q4 revenue of Rs. 1,300 Crore+ despite the rising gold prices. Robust wedding season demand in Q4 led to a 23 percent YoY retail growth and 18 percent same-store sales growth (SSSG).

Revenue for the whole year crossed Rs. 6,200 Crore, with northeastern revenue crossing Rs.1,100 Crore. Their Diamond jewellery segment saw a growth of 39 percent YoY. Further Coin & Bullion saw a contribution of 4 percent of the total Revenue. 

Management has given the outlook for Q1FY26, stating that they are confident of a very strong start to FY26, and sales could get a boost by robust demand during Poila Baisakh, Akshaya Tritiya, and the momentum of a continued wedding season.

To further strengthen the company’s market presence, the company plans to open 5-7 new stores, which is in line with their plan for 20-22 new stores, both own and franchisee-owned, during FY26.

Additionally, the Company’s SENNES stores, which cater to lifestyle products like lab-grown diamonds, leather accessories, and perfumes, have 5-7 new stores in the pipeline.

Financial Highlights 

The company reported a 22.53 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 1,651 Crore in Q3FY24 to Rs. 2,023 Crore in Q3FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 38.65 percent in revenue from Rs. 1,459 Crore in the previous quarter.

Their Net profit saw a decrease of 70.27 percent YoY from Rs. 111 Crore to Rs. 33 Crore for the same period. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 94.11 percent in Net profit from Rs. 17 Crore in the previous quarter.
