This Hospitality Company with Asia’s first chain of eco-friendly 5-star hotels is in focus after it Jumped 6.46 percent following the announcement of a new hotel in Mandavi, Kutch, Gujarat.

Share Price Movement

With a market capitalization of Rs.835 Crore, the stock of Kamat Hotels opened at Rs. 285.65, roughly the same level as yesterday’s close, and after opening it made a high of 303.15 up 6.46 percent. Additionally, the Yearly return for the stock is -10 percent, and the past 5-year return is an impressive 691 percent.

Update from Company

The company has signed a Management Agreement for the management and operation of the Orchid Hotel located in Mandavi, Kutch, Gujrat.

The hotel has 153 rooms/villas with facilities such as a Party Lawn, Banquet halls, Pure Veg Restaurant, Swimming pool, Mini Golf Course, Gym, Spa, Kids play area, Amphitheatre, Pickleball and Outdoor and Indoor Games Arena. The hotel is expected to start its operations by December 2027.

Financial Highlights

The company reported a 28.76 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 86.12 Crore in Q3FY24 to Rs. 110.89 Crore in Q3FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 29.89 percent in revenue from Rs. 85.37 Crore in the previous quarter.

Their Net profit saw an increase of 37.02 percent YoY from Rs. 41.57 Crore to Rs. 26.18 Crore for the same period. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an impressive increase of 213.90 percent in Net profit from Rs. 8.34 Crore in the previous quarter.
