With a market capitalization of Rs 91,364 crore, the shares of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd is currently trading at Rs 896, down by 18.4 percent, from its 52-week high of Rs 1,097. The stock has given a negative return of 5.24 percent over the last one year.
Financial Highlights
On Wednesday, the company announced its financial results and made a couple of announcements. It reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 49,765 crores in FY25, down by 1.17 percent from its FY24 revenue of Rs 50,354 crores. It declined by 2.25 percent YoY from Rs 13,487 crores in Q4 FY24 to Rs 13,183 crores in Q4 FY25. Additionally, on a QoQ basis, it rose by 12.18 percent from Rs 11,751 crores in Q3 FY25 to Rs 13,183 crores in Q4 FY25.
It posted a net profit of Rs 2,846 crores in FY25, down by 52.12 percent from its FY24 net profit of Rs 5,943 crores. It reported a net loss of Rs 304 crores in Q4 FY25 against its Q4 FY24 net profit of Rs 933 crores and its Q3 FY25 net profit of Rs 951 crores.
It reported its production and sales of 8.12 MT and 7.97 MT, respectively. It is targeting an annualised production and sales of 9-10 MT and 8.5-9 Mt respectively in FY26. Additionally, the company has considered a final dividend of Rs 2 per share, subject to the approval of the shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting and other authorities.
