Hero MotoCorp shares were in focus after the company announced 21% YoY sales growth for the month of July.

One of the largest two-wheeler manufacturing companies in India is in the spotlight today after announcing a robust sales growth of 21 percent in July 2025 compared to the same month in the last year.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 89,169 crore, the shares of Hero MotoCorp Ltd is trading at Rs. 4,458.10, up by 3.4 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 4,311.60 per equity share, and it has reached a high of Rs. 4,470 in the same trading day.

What’s The News?

Hero MotoCorp sold 4.5 lakh two-wheelers in July 2025, up 21% year on year from 3.70 lakh units in July 2024. Out of this, 4.12 lakh units were sold in India, and 37,358 units were exported. Models such as the Destini 125, Xoom 125, and the new HF Deluxe Pro proved to be in high demand. 

Its EV brand VIDA had its best month ever, selling 11,226 units and doubling its market share to 10.2% driven by the success of the recently launched VIDA Evooter VX2 with its battery as a service model. The company anticipates continued growth ahead of the festival season.

Its revenue from operations grew by 8.3 percent from Rs. 37,789 crore in FY24 to Rs. 40,923 crore in FY25, accompanied by profit growth of 16.94 percent from Rs. 3,742 crore in FY24 to 4,376 crore in FY25. The debt-to-equity ratio stands at 0.04.
