Additionally, the Yearly return for the stock is 34 percent, and the past 5-year return is a decent 167 percent.
Financial Highlights & Dividend Recommendation
The company reported a 10.48 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 386.53 Crore in Q4FY24 to Rs. 398.52 Crore in Q4FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported a decrease of 9.97 percent in revenue from Rs. 442.68 Crore in the previous quarter.
The Company had reported a Net Profit of Rs. 12.37 Crore in Q4FY24, however, it changed to a Net loss of Rs. 11.93 Crore in Q4FY25. On a QoQ basis, they had reported a Net loss of Rs. 37.92 Crore.
The major decrease in Net loss on a QoQ basis can be attributed to the Q3FY25 results, where the company has an exceptional item of Rs. 34.33 Crore. The company had faced a financial loss worth Rs. 34.33 Crore because of a fire in the Jammu plant on 30th December 2024. The fire significantly affected the building, plant and machinery, leasehold improvements, and inventories at the site.
The company’s Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.50 per share on equity shares of face value of Rs. 5. The dividend will be subject to the approval of the members in the AGM of the Company.
Mahi Madhusudan Kela had bought a 4.60 percent stake in the company, or 11,00,000 shares of the total shares available. The holding value stood at Rs. 134.70 Crore. As of the Q4FY25 shareholding pattern, he had picked up a fresh stake in the company.
