Israel-Iran Ceasefire Holds Amid Fragile Calm
A delicate ceasefire between Israel and Iran, brokered by former U.S. President Donald Trump, is currently being upheld by both nations. There are emerging signs of easing tensions, with reopened airspace, rising market optimism, and falling oil prices.
However, early U.S. intelligence reports indicate that American airstrikes did not significantly damage Iran’s critical nuclear infrastructure. Tehran’s nuclear facilities, including centrifuges and uranium reserves, reportedly remain intact and fully operational.
In response, both Trump and the U.S. Defence Secretary described the military actions as “total obliteration,” while the White House dismissed the intelligence reports as misleading and inaccurate, calling them “flat-out wrong.”
Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu Warns to Iran Amid Fragile Ceasefire
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran of renewed strikes if it restarts its nuclear program, calling recent military action a “historic victory” that prevented Israel’s annihilation.
He praised Donald Trump’s support and stressed continued pressure on Iran and Hamas. The ceasefire holds only if Iran complies, as Israel begins easing wartime restrictions. Despite signs of normalcy, tensions remain high.
US President stated: China can now continue to purchase oil from Iran and hopefully China will be purchasing oil from the US also. He also stated
- Israel is not going to attack Iran, all planes will turn around and head home.
- Nobody will be hurt, the ceasefire is in effect.
- Iran will never rebuild their nuclear facilities.
