Indian benchmark indices ended a four-day losing streak on Tuesday, driven by gains in auto and financial stocks, though HCL Technologies slipped after weak Q1 results. Foreign investors turned net buyers, picking up shares worth Rs 104.5 crore, while domestic institutions extended their buying streak for the seventh session with Rs 1,477.6 crore in purchases.

Bulk Deals
- TVS Infrastructure Trust: Several large trades took place in TVS Infrastructure Trust, with AMBIT Wealth selling 53.2 lakh shares at Rs 101.97 and L&T offloading 13.7 lakh shares at Rs 100.52. On the buying side, Sargam Retails picked up 19.2 lakh shares at Rs 102, along with Harshvardhan Properties and Yashvardhan Estate & Developers, each purchasing 10 lakh shares at the same price. Phillip Services India both sold and bought shares in different tranches, indicating active participation on both sides of the trade.
- MAS Financial Services: Nippon India Mutual Fund increased its stake in MAS Financial by acquiring 20 lakh shares at Rs 305 each from Business Excellence Trust III. This transaction further strengthened Nippon India MF’s holding, which stood at 5.29% as of March 2025. The deal reflects continued institutional interest in MAS Financial’s growth outlook.
