Synopsis:
Quest Flow Controls Limited (formerly known as Meson Valves India Limited) has announced a significant order win from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE), a Government of India undertaking. 

This company manufactures and supplies various types of Valves in Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials after securing an order worth Rs. 23.5 cr from GRSE.

With market capitalization of Rs. 325 cr, the shares of Quest Flow Controls Limited are currently trading at Rs. 321.80 apiece, increasing more than 9% from its previous close of Rs. 294.30 apiece.

Fresh order

Quest Flow Controls has received a significant domestic order from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE), a Government of India undertaking, for the supply of valves and spares. The total order value is approximately Rs. 23.56 crore, inclusive of GST, and is slated for execution within a three-month timeframe. The order does not involve any promoter interest and is not a related-party transaction. 

This development further strengthens Quest Flow Controls growing portfolio in the shipbuilding and defense supply chain sector, highlighting the company’s robust capabilities and established reputation in industrial valve manufacturing. 

This order has pushed the company’s total order book past Rs. 100 crore, a significant milestone reflecting its strong position in delivering high-quality valves and services for India’s naval requirements. The overall execution timeline for the Rs. 100 crore order book ranges between 12-18 months, with the company aiming to accelerate completion through optimal resource alignment.

CEO Mr. Kishor Makvan highlighted that QFCL is diversifying beyond the naval sector, building a presence in international markets including the Middle East, South-East Asia, Russia, and North Africa. The company is targeting growth in marine, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors, positioning geographical diversification as a key driver of sustainable growth. The steady inflow of naval orders underscores QFCL’s commitment to supporting India’s defense and maritime capabilities, strengthening strategic relationships with the Indian Navy and domestic shipbuilding ecosystem.
