About the order

Manglam Infra & Engineering Ltd, through a stock exchange filing, announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Ministry of Railways to take on the role of General Consultant (GC) for several projects under the CAO Construction (RSP Unit) of South Western Railway.

The order, worth Rs 7.71 crore, comes from a domestic government entity and is set to be carried out over the next 48 months. The work will involve providing consultancy services in line with the General Contract Conditions, helping to plan and execute upcoming railway projects within the SWR’s CAO Construction unit.

Financial Highlights

The company reported a revenue of Rs 27.82 crores in H2 FY25, up 60 percent from Rs 17.36 crores in H1 FY25. Coming to its profitability, it reported a net loss of Rs 10 lakh in H2 FY25, as compared to a profit of Rs 3.03 crores in H1 FY25. 

The stock delivered a poor ROE and ROCE of 9.55 percent and 12.78 percent respectively, and is currently trading at a P/E of 14x as compared to its industry average of 31x.
