Synopsis:
CLN Energy Limited has received a supply order worth approximately USD 1.8 million (about Rs. 15.91 crores) from a Hong Kong-based multinational company. The contract covers system design and development, production part approval process, and after-sales support, which is to be executed within 90 days.

This company manufactures customized lithium-ion batteries and motors, and it deals in powertrain components for electric vehicles and now is in focus after securing international order for system design and development. 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 660 cr, the shares of CLN Energy Ltd are currently trading at Rs. 613 per share, hit 5% upper circuit in today’s intraday sessions, making a high of Rs. 639.50, from its previous close of Rs. 609.05 per share.

CLN Energy Limited has announced that it has secured an international supply order valued at approximately USD 1,805,000, equivalent to about Rs. 15.91 crores. The order has been placed by a Hong Kong-based multinational company (name withheld due to competitive sensitivity) for the design and development of a system, execution of the production part approval process, and after-sales support. The contract is to be executed within 90 days.

The award has been received from an unrelated international entity and does not fall under related party transactions. The order has been received in the ordinary course of business on a purely commercial and arm’s length basis.

This achievement further strengthens CLN Energy’s global footprint and demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver high-value, technology-driven solutions to international customers.

About the company

CLN Energy Limited specializes in designing and producing customized lithium-ion battery packs, motors, and a range of EV powertrain components—including controllers, throttles, DC-DC converters, and displays for both mobility (two-, three-, and four-wheelers) and stationary applications like solar, telecom, and energy storage systems. Sales of the company increased to Rs. 144 cr in March 2025 from Rs. 75 cr in Sept 2024. Net profit rose from Rs. 5 cr to Rs. 8 cr in the same period.
