With a market cap of Rs. 38,118 crores, at 10:24 a.m., the shares of Astral Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 1,418.95, up by 3 percent, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 1,377.35. The stock has delivered negative returns of more than 32 percent in one year, but has gained by nearly 4 percent in the last one month.

According to the latest regulatory filings on the stock exchanges, Astral Limited announced the financial results for Q4 FY25 on Wednesday after market hours. For Q4 FY25, Astral reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 1,681.4 crores, reflecting a growth of around 20 percent QoQ from Rs. 1,397 crores in Q3 FY25, and a year-on-year rise of about 3.4 percent from Rs. 1,625 crores in Q4 FY24.
The net profit increased to Rs. 178 crores in Q4 FY25, marking a nearly 58 percent QoQ rise from Rs. 112.6 crores reported in the previous quarter, but a decline of around 5 percent YoY from Rs. 181 crores in Q4 FY24.
Additionally, EBITDA stood at Rs. 302 crores in Q4 FY25, representing a 38 percent QoQ rise from Rs. 219 crores reported in Q3 FY24, and a marginal 4 percent YoY growth compared to Rs. 291 crores in Q4 FY24. Meanwhile, EBITDA margins stood at 18 percent in Q4 FY25, up from 16 percent in Q3 FY25 and 18 percent recorded in Q4 FY24.
Astral reported a total consolidated segment revenue of Rs. 1,681.4 crores for Q4 FY25. Plumbing segment emerged as the largest contributor, accounting for Rs. 1,226.6 crore or ~73 percent of the total segmental revenue, while the Paints and Adhesives segment contributed Rs. 454.8 crore, representing 27 percent of the total segmental revenue. Additionally, the company’s Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.25 per share (face value of Re. 1 each), subject to the approval of shareholders.
Astral Limited operates in two main business verticals: (1) Plumbing, which includes pipes, fittings, water tanks, and bathware; and (2) Paints and Adhesives, comprising the erstwhile Resinova, Seal It, and Astral Coatings Private Limited (Gem).
