Synopsis: The toll charges on the Bengaluru Mysuru Expressway, NH-275, have been raised once again, marking the second toll revision on the expressway in 2026. The revised toll charges came into effect from midnight on July 21, 2026, increasing travel costs for commuters and commercial vehicle operators.
Commuters travelling on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway will now have to pay higher toll charges after the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced a fresh revision in toll charges. The increase comes just three months after the previous revision implemented in April 2026. The revised toll charges apply to the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta and Nidaghatta-Mysuru stretches of NH-275, covering private vehicles, commercial vehicles, buses, trucks and other categories using the expressway.
What Has Changed
The new toll prices for the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway became effective from July 21, 2026. It marks the second toll revision on the expressway in 2026. The new tolls will be applicable at all significant toll plazas such as Kaniminike, Sheshagirihalli, and Gananguru. The toll prices have been revised for different types of vehicles, whereas the monthly local resident pass remains unchanged.
Revised Toll charges Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway (NH-275)
Note: The revised toll charges came into effect from July 21, 2026, across the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway (NH-275). The local resident monthly pass remains unchanged at ₹360.
Toll revision has been done according to the relevant government guidelines and also after obtaining permission from the concerned authority. This Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway was constructed using the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) under which costs of the project can be covered by means of government funding as well as tolls.
This 117 km-long expressway was launched in the month of March 2023 and has cut down the travel time between Bengaluru and Mysuru from about three hours to 75 minutes. The project has been constructed at the cost of ₹8,408 crore. It comprises bypasses as well as greenfield roads. The latest increase in the toll will certainly lead to increased expenses for regular travelers as well as operators of commercial vehicles. Even though the expressway has contributed positively towards better connectivity and travel time reduction, continuous toll revision has become a matter of concern for the users.
