The share, after sliding down ~20 percent in the last two weeks, turned around with a gap up after reporting order receipt from an Engineering & Infrastructure Company.

The shares of this company which belong to the Iron and steel products industry, has emerged as India’s largest ERW Pipes exporter, largest GI Pipes producer, and the second largest in the lighting segment, is in focus after announcement of an order receipt.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 5,778.23 Crore, Surya Roshni Ltd’s shares made a day high on Tuesday of Rs. 269.8 per share, from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 259.65 per share. Mukul Agrawal, a known investor holds 1.01 percent stake in the company.The shares have given a massive return of 306.4 percent over the period of last five years.

Significant Order

The shares have turned around after the sell-off since its weak quarterly earnings, with an Order worth Rs. 105.18 crore(with GST), received from an Engineering & Infrastructure Company (company name not mentioned) for the supply of Spiral pipes with external 3 LPE coating.

Terms of the domestic order, supply to be done in the territory of Gujarat, with the delivery date being March 31, 2026. Where the transaction is categorised as a non-related party transaction.

As of Q2 FY26, the order book of the company with healthy capacity utilization, stood at Rs. 875 crore, with an order book of about ₹750 crores in-hand from oil & gas sector, water sector & exports business and rest of Rs.125 crore order book contributed by professional lighting business.

Surya Roshni Limited incorporated in 1973, has emerged as India’s largest ERW Pipes exporter, largest GI Pipes producer, and the second largest in the lighting segment. Its focus is on developing the value-added product mix (3LPE Coated pipes, Alkyd pipes, etc.)

The company’s Steel, Pipe and strip segment’s product line consisted of -GI pipes, API/ 3LPE coated spiral pipes, Black pipes, Hollow section pipes and CR strips. And the Lighting and consumer durable segment’s product line includes- Consumer lighting, professional lighting, fans, appliances and PVC pipes.

Financial Highlights, revenue from operation grew by 21 percent to Rs. 1,845 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 1,529 crore in Q2 FY25. EBITDA grew by 69 percent to Rs. 141 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs.83 crore in Q2 FY25. With PBT growth of 116 percent, to Rs. 100 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs.46 crore in Q2 FY25 and PAT grew by 117 percent to Rs. 74 crore YoY.
