The shares of the Navratna PSU company, specializing in construction, real estate development, and project management consultancy, jumped upto 2 percent upon receiving a new work order from Power Finance Corporation Limited worth Rs. 161.55 crores.
With a market capitalization of Rs. 30,801.60 crores on Thursday, the shares of NBCC (India) Ltd jumped upto 1.9 percent, making a high of Rs. 115.28 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 113.12 per share.
NBCC (India) Limited, engaged in construction, real estate development, and project management consultancy, has received a new work order from Power Finance Corporation Limited worth Rs. 161.55 crores for interior works at Tower-H, World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi.

The company’s revenue rose by 16.6 percent from Rs. 2,471.51 crore to Rs. 2,882.16 crore in Q3FY24-25. Meanwhile, Net profit increased from Rs. 110.74 crore to Rs. 138.48 crore during the same period.
As of January 2025, the total consolidated order book is Rs. 1 lakh crore. NBCC leads with Rs. 82,500 crore, followed by HSCC with Rs. 10,600 crore, HSCL with Rs. 6,800 crore, and NSL with Rs. 200 crore. This strong order pipeline highlights robust business prospects across all entities.
In FY25, the company secured major business orders, including a Rs. 12,712 crore project for a 406-acre Satellite Township in Srinagar, J&K, and a Rs. 9,445 crore contract for completing 16 Supertech projects. These large-scale orders significantly strengthen the company’s business portfolio for the year.
NBCC mainly operates in three areas: Project Management Consultancy (PMC), which makes up 92 percent of its turnover and includes large government and institutional projects; Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC), contributing 6 percent through civil works for the power sector; and Real Estate Development, accounting for 2 percent, focused on office buildings and residential projects.
