With a market capitalization of Rs 2,230 crores, the shares of Muthoot Microfin Ltd are currently trading at Rs 131 per share, down by 49.3 percent from its 52-week high of Rs 257.98. In the last one year, the shares have realised a negative returns of 41.11 percent.
Financial Highlights
Muthoot Microfin reported a revenue of Rs 2,561.6 crores in FY25, up by 13.91 percent from Rs 2,248.9 crores in FY24. On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, revenue declined by 13.71 percent to Rs 555 crores in Q4 FY25 from Rs 643.2 crores in Q4 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, it declined by 18.47 percent from Rs 680.7 crores in Q3 FY25.
The company posted a net loss of Rs 222.5 crores in FY25, against a net profit of Rs 449.5 crores in FY24. On a YoY basis, it reported a loss of Rs 401.1 crores in Q4 FY25 compared to a profit of Rs 119.7 crores in Q4 FY24 and a profit of Rs 3.8 crores in Q3 FY25.
Its GNPA ratio soared to 4.84 percent at the end of the reporting period from 2.29 percent a year earlier. As of FY25, the NBFC has an AUM of Rs 12,356.7 crores, which increased by 1.34 percent from Rs 12,193.5 crores in FY24. Its disbursements declined by 16.78 percent to Rs 8,872.5 crores in FY25 from Rs 10,661.6 crores in FY24. Provisions against bad loans during the quarter stood at Rs 652 crores, compared to Rs 62 crores in the year-ago period.
