On Tuesday, Nazara Technologies announced that it has acquired UK-based PC and Console Gaming Publisher (Curve Games) for an amount of Rs 247 crores.
It cited that it is a part of a strategic initiative to enhance its global presence in the console and PC gaming business. Curve Games has more than 100 million downloads and has a strong footprint in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific region. Curve has the tested publishing expertise and a transversal portfolio of successful titles. In the calendar year 2024, Curve posted a revenue of Rs 263.5 crores and EBITDA of Rs 114.4 crores.
The acquisition fits into Nazara’s long-term growth strategy of expansion through strategic global acquisitions and is likely to drive its cross-platform IP creation and value generation in the US $100+ billion worldwide gaming market.
