During Tuesday’s trading session, shares of a Mumbai-based company engaged in the business of export and trading in gold jewellery surged 13 percent on NSE, after a foreign investor bought nearly 6.4 lakh equity shares in the company via a bulk deal on NSE.

With a market cap of Rs. 113.7 crores, at 12:43 p.m., the shares of Moksh Ornaments Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 13.58 on NSE, up by around 10.4 percent, as compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 12.3.

What’s the News

According to the latest bulk deal reported on the NSE, foreign investor Investi Global Opportunity Fund PCC has acquired 6.4 lakh equity shares in Moksh Ornaments, through an open market transaction valued at around Rs. 78.72 lakhs, with an average price of Rs. 12.3 per share. On the selling side, Pine Oak Global Fund divested nearly 6.45 lakh shares worth Rs. 79.3 lakhs, at the same price of Rs. 12.3 per share.

4th February: The company bagged an Rs. 120 crore order from Lalithaa Jewellery Mart for the supply of new gold ornaments of 22 Carats.

Additionally, Moksh Ornaments announced plans to introduce rose gold ornaments with lighter carats to serve new-generation customers and changing consumer preferences. Apart from changing its product change, it is also in the process of tapping new international geographies.

Financials

Moksh Ornaments reported a significant growth in revenue from operations, experiencing a year-on-year increase of nearly 38 percent, rising from Rs. 85 crores in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 117.3 crores in Q3 FY25.

Similarly, during the same period, the company’s net profit increased from Rs. 1.5 crores to Rs. 2.5 crores, representing a rise of around 66.6 percent YoY.
