PFA 2025 Award Winners
The PFA awards are handed out to the best-performing sporting stars in the Premier League 2024/25 campaign. The six-man shortlist for the nominees for the awards was released in late June.
PFA Men’s Player of the Year Winner – Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah has won the award for a record third time and is now the only player in Premier League history to do so. The Egyptian King has eclipsed various two-time winners such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Gareth Bale, and Kevin de Bruyne.
PFA Men’s Young Player of the Year Winner – Morgan Rogers
The Aston Villa star was a key cornerstone of Unai Emery’s side that pushed for the Champions League spots. He racked up 18 goal contributions in 37 Premier League appearances and even earned a call-up to England’s national team squad.
Which Players have missed out of the PFA Team of the Year 2024-25?
Manchester City have recorded no players in the PFA Team of the Year for the first time since Pep Guardiola’s debut season in 2016/17. Erling Haaland, despite scoring 22 goals in 31 appearances, has no spot in the team.
Bruno Fernandes and Cole Palmer, despite making the nominees list for the PFA Men’s Player of the Year, did not even make the roster for the team. Bruno Fernandes registered 18 goal contributions in 36 appearances for a struggling Manchester United side, and Cole Palmer managed to get 23 contributions in 37 for his Chelsea side.
