Synopsis:
Ravindra Energy Limited released its Q2FY26 results, posting a 650 percent increase in revenue and a 3,000 percent jump in net profit compared to the same period last year, by hitting the upper circuit of 10 percent.
The shares of a small-cap company involved in coal trading, as well as the installation and setup of rooftop, ground-mounted, and photovoltaic solar systems, drew investor attention after the announcement of its Q2FY26 results and recent updates.
With a market capitalization of Rs.2,920.26 crores, the shares of Ravindra Energy Limited were trading at Rs.169.70, hitting the upper circuit of 10 percent from its previous day closing price of Rs.154.30.
Q2FY26 Results
Ravindra Energy Limited reported revenue of Rs.120 crore in Q2FY26, a 650 percent rise from Rs.16 crore in Q2FY25 and 26.38 percent lower than Rs.163 crore in Q1FY26. EBITDA increased to Rs.37 crore, up by 3,600 percent year-on-year from Rs.1 crore and 32.14 percent higher than Rs.28 crore in the previous quarter.
Profit before tax rose to Rs.26 crore, up by 2,500 percent YoY from Rs.1 crore and 8.33 percent higher than Rs.24 crore in Q1FY26. The company’s net profit reached Rs.31 crore, up by 3,000 percent from Rs.1 crore a year ago and 34.78 percent higher than Rs.23 crore in the previous quarter.
The company reported total revenue of Rs.120 crores. Of this, the Solar segment contributed Rs.112.8 crores, about 93.77 percent, while the Trading segment contributed Rs.7 crores, about 6.23 percent. This shows that most of the company’s income comes from its Solar business.
Renewable Energy business update
Ravindra Energy Limited has 187.3 MW of operating solar capacity, with 45 MW under construction, targeted for completion by March 2026. A further 182 MW is under development, including MSKVY Phase-3 and a 62 MW HESCOM bid, planned for March 2027. The company is also executing 6 MW of third-party EPC projects to be completed by March 2026.
Ravindra Energy Limited is involved in coal trading, installing and setting up rooftop, ground-mounted, and photovoltaic solar systems. They also sell solar-powered water pumping systems and are engaged in generating and selling electricity.
