The shares of a prominent power transmission company gained up to 6 percent after the company secured significant work orders from domestic and international clients worth Rs 534 crore.

With a market capitalization of Rs 8,862.24 crore, the shares of Transrail Lighting Ltd were trading at Rs 660.10 per share, increasing around 3.40 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 638.40 apiece.

The shares of Transrail Lighting Ltd, a prominent EPC player in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment, have seen positive movement after securing significant work orders from domestic and international clients worth Rs 534 crore. 

Mr. Randeep Narang, MD & CEO, said: “We are pleased to begin the new financial year with a steady build-up in order inflows, led by wins in our core Transmission & Distribution segment. These new orders also include our biggest substation job, which we are going to execute in Africa. With FY26 order intake already crossing  Rs 1,600 crore, we remain focused on efficient execution and timely delivery.”

Financial & Operational Highlights

Looking forward to the company’s financial performance, revenue increased by 40 percent from Rs 1,392 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 1,946 crore in Q4FY25. Further, during the same time frame, net profit increased by 27 percent from Rs 100 crore to Rs 127 crore.

Transrail, with 4 decades of expertise, operates across 59 countries in T&D, civil construction, railways, poles & lighting, and solar EPC. It has built 35,000+ CKM transmission lines, supplied 13.5 lakh MT of towers, 1.95 lakh km conductors, and 4.74 lakh poles, backed by 4 manufacturing units and 2,100+ employees.

In FY25, Transrail recorded Rs 9,680 Cr in YTD orders, with 91.34 percent from the Power T&D segment. Geographically, 65 percent of orders were domestic and 35 percent international. The unexecuted order book of   Rs14,551 Cr comprised 92.49 percent Power T&D orders. Total backlog plus L1 reached Rs 15,915 Cr.

Transrail Lighting operates integrated manufacturing facilities for lattice structures, conductors, and monopoles and has a presence across all segments of power transmission and distribution, particularly in high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) systems.
