ITI Limited, India’s first public sector telecom company, has been empanelled by Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL) to implement two major IT projects in Gujarat. The projects, valued at around Rs. 110 crore, include IT infrastructure implementation and the establishment of a cutting-edge Cyber Security Operation Centre (SOC).
The company is engaged in manufacturing, trading and servicing of telecommunication equipment, and rendering other associated and ancillary services is now in focus after receiving an order worth Rs. 110 cr. With market capitalization of Rs. 29,768 cr, the shares of ITI Limited are currently closed at Rs. 310.65 per share from its previous closing of Rs. 315.25 per share.
Fresh order update
ITI Limited, India’s premier public sector telecom company, has been empanelled as a System Integrator by Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL) for two major IT projects in Gujarat. The 36-month empanelment, valued at around Rs. 110 crore, includes IT infrastructure implementation and the establishment of a state-of-the-art Cyber Security Operation Centre (SOC) at GIPL’s Data Center in Gandhinagar.
The SOC will ensure secure management of GIPL’s critical digital assets, supporting proactive cyber risk monitoring and uninterrupted operations. ITI’s chairman, Mr. Rajesh Rai, described the empanelment as a strategic milestone, highlighting the company’s expertise in delivering advanced, cost-effective IT solutions.
ITI already has a strong presence in Gujarat, handling projects worth over Rs. 1,200 crore, including broadband connectivity for 4,271 Gram Panchayats under the GUJNET project and modernization initiatives with the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC). The new GIPL projects reinforce ITI’s role in driving digital transformation, secure governance, and robust IT infrastructure in the state.
