With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,164.40 crores, the share of Dredging Corporation of India Limited has reached an intraday high of Rs. 777.65 per equity share, rising nearly 14.91 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 676.75. Since then, the stock has retreated and is currently trading at Rs. 773 per equity share.
Q4 FY25 Result Walkthrough
Coming into the quarterly results of Dredging Corporation of India Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 65.81 percent YOY, from Rs. 278.88 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs. 462.41 crore in Q4 FY25, and grew by 42.53 percent QoQ from Rs. 324.43 crore in Q3 FY25.
In Q4 FY25, Dredging Corporation of India Limited’s consolidated net profit has turned from negative to positive, from a net loss of Rs. 25.97 crore in Q4 FY24 to a net profit of Rs. 21.40 crore in Q4 FY25. As compared to Q3 FY25, the net profit has increased by 33.33 percent, from Rs. 16.05 crore.
The basic earnings per share decreased by 6.10 percent and stood at Rs. 5.73 as against Rs. 5.38 recorded in the previous quarter in the financial year 2025.
FY25 Result: Dredging Corporation of India Limited’s revenue has increased from Rs. 945.50 crore in FY24 to Rs. 1,142.13 crore in FY25, which is a growth of 20.80 percent. The net profit has turned from positive to negative, from a net profit of Rs. 33.18 crore in FY24 to a net loss of Rs. 27.45 crore in FY25.
Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) was established in 1976 and is headquartered in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. DCI specializes in providing comprehensive dredging and maritime services to major ports, the Indian Navy, fishing harbors, and other maritime organizations across India.
The company mainly works on keeping sea routes clear at Indian ports by removing mud and sand. They also make ports deeper and wider, add sand to beaches, and create new land from water. Most of their work is in India, but they sometimes take up projects in other countries like Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Dubai.
Dredging Corporation of India Limited has completed key projects like dredging for the Sethusamudram Canal, KKS port, and Hussain Sagar Lake. They also maintained Ramakrishna Mission Beach, showing their expertise in improving waterways and supporting coastal and environmental development.
