With a market capitalization of Rs. 29,924.10 crore, the shares of NBCC (India) Limited closed at Rs. 110.83 on Friday, up by 0.96 percent from its previous closing price of Rs. 109.78 per equity share.

NBCC Ltd expects strong growth, with revenue rising from Rs. 14,000–15,000 crore in FY26 to about Rs. 25,000 crore in FY28 and PAT reaching around Rs. 2,000 crore. EBITDA margins are set to improve, and the order book is planned to grow from Rs. 1.2 lakh crore to Rs. 2 lakh crore in a few years.

NBCC (India) Ltd, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is India’s leading construction company with more than 64 years of experience. The company, headquartered in Delhi and founded in 1960, operates in three key segments: project management consultancy, engineering procurement and construction, and real estate.

NBCC is a leading construction company with a consolidated order book of Rs. 1.2 lakh crore (as on June, 2025) and a global presence. It is recognized for its innovation, quality standards, timely delivery, and strong workforce. As of June 2025, the Government of India holds a 61.75 percent stake in the company.

Financial Outlook

For Q1 FY26, the company’s revenue increased by 11.61 percent, rising year-over-year from Rs. 2,142.53 crore to Rs. 2,391.19 crore. However, on a quarter-over-quarter basis, revenue declined by 48.49 percent, down from Rs. 4,642.55 crore in Q4 FY25.

Similarly, the company’s net profit increased by 25.96 percent from Rs. 107.20 crore in Q1 FY25 to Rs. 135.03 crore in Q1 FY26, whereas decreased by 26.08 percent as compared to Rs. 182.67 crore in Q4 FY25.

At the moment, the company’s P/E stands at 45.2x higher than the industry average of 21.2x. ROE and ROCE of 25.19 percent and 33.5 percent respectively, indicates company’s financial performance.

Future Outlook

Revenue, EBITDA & Order Guidance

NBCC Ltd has guided for strong growth in the coming years, with consolidated revenue expected at Rs. 14,000–15,000 crore in FY26, Rs. 18,000–19,000 crore in FY27, and around Rs. 25,000 crore in FY28. The company has also projected a PAT of about Rs. 2,000 crore in FY28, implying a margin of 7–8 percent.

NBCC Ltd has guided for an EBITDA margin of 6 – 6.5 percent in FY26, with expectations of improving to 8–9 percent by FY28, supported by higher operating leverage and increased real estate sales.

NBCC Ltd, with a current consolidated order book of Rs. 1.2 lakh crore, is targeting to scale this to Rs. 2 lakh crore within 2–3 years, supported by large-scale government and PSU redevelopment projects.
