A precision engineering stock traded weak on Thursday after foreign institutional investor (FII) Samena Special Situations Mauritius offloaded a portion of its holdings in the company. The move triggered mild selling pressure, reflecting partial profit booking.
Dynamatic Technologies Ltd, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 5,221.57 crore, opened at Rs. 7,706.80 against its previous close of Rs. 7,757. The stock slipped to an intraday low of Rs. 7,660.15, marking a decline of around 1.3 percent from the previous session’s close.

Samena Special Situations Mauritius III, which held a 3.66 percent stake (2.48 lakh shares) as of September 2025, sold 53,949 equity shares, equivalent to 0.79 percent of paid-up equity, in Dynamatic Technologies at Rs. 7,712.34 per share, amounting to Rs. 41.6 crore. In October so far, the investor has sold a total of 1.85 percent stake. Following these transactions, Samena’s shareholding in the company has now reduced to 1.81 percent.
Financial Snapshot – Q1FY26
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue declined from Rs. 393.3 crore in Q4FY25 to Rs. 381 crore in Q1FY26, down 3.1 percent. Operating profit remained broadly stable, marginally easing from Rs. 37.9 crore to Rs. 37.8 crore, a negligible 0.3 percent dip. Profit before tax fell from Rs. 19.3 crore to Rs. 15.3 crore, lower by 20.7 percent, while net profit declined from Rs. 16.1 crore to Rs. 10.8 crore, a 32.9 percent decrease sequentially.
On a year-on-year basis, revenue rose from Rs. 349.3 crore in Q1FY25 to Rs. 381 crore in Q1FY26, up 9.1 percent. Operating profit fell from Rs. 40.1 crore to Rs. 37.8 crore, a 5.7 percent decline. Profit before tax improved from Rs. 11.7 crore to Rs. 15.3 crore, an increase of 30.8 percent, while net profit eased slightly from Rs. 11.4 crore to Rs. 10.8 crore, down 5.3 percent year-on-year.
