During Monday’s trading session, shares of a company focused on new age businesses, including e-commerce, EVs, and drones, are in focus on the stock exchanges, after its wholly owned drone subsidiary partnered with the Karnataka government to deploy drones for security operations.

At 12:37 p.m., the shares of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 53.75 on BSE, up by 0.22 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 53.63, with a market cap of Rs. 7,421.4 crores. The stock has delivered negative returns of around 25 percent in the last one year, and has fallen by over 12 percent in the last one month.

According to the latest regulatory disclosures on the stock exchanges, RattanIndia Enterprises Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, NeoSky India Limited, has expanded its footprint in the security sector with significant drone deployments in Karnataka. 

NeoSky recently delivered drones to the Kalaburagi district administration and is now set to supply an additional 60 units of its Tavas drone to the Karnataka Police. The Tavas is a foldable drone featuring swappable payloads and six-sided obstacle avoidance using LiDAR technology. 

The company continues to work closely with the Indian armed forces, paramilitary units, state police departments, and other government agencies to address the country’s evolving security and surveillance requirements.

Among its recent deployments to the Karnataka Police are various surveillance drones, including the Nimble-I, equipped with day and night surveillance, interchangeable payloads, and AI-based functionalities, as well as the NS01 micro drone, which weighs ~550 grams and includes a day camera.

NeoSky is an ISO-certified full-stack drone solutions provider, with expertise in drone training, R&D, manufacturing, and service delivery. Along with its subsidiary TAS, NeoSky holds a DIPP license for drone manufacturing in the defence sector, is one of the first to receive DGCA approval in India, and is among the pioneers to successfully conduct BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) trials.

RattanIndia Enterprises reported a growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year increase of around 16 percent from Rs. 1,294 crores in Q4 FY24 to Rs. 1,505 crores in Q4 FY25. In contrast, its net loss increased during the same period from Rs. 82 crores to Rs. 359 crores, representing a rise in losses of about 338 percent YoY.
