The shares of Nazara Technologies Limited were trading in the red at Rs. 1,408 on BSE, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 1,413.85, with a market cap of Rs. 12,327.61 crores. The stock has delivered positive returns of more than 60.8 percent in the last one year, and has gained by around 40 percent in the last six months.

Shareholding Pattern

As per the June 2025 shareholding pattern, the Promoters hold an 8.3 percent stake in the company, while the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) hold a 12.98 percent stake. Retail Investors and Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) hold a 68.9 percent and 9.8 percent stake in Nazara Technologies, respectively.

What’s noteworthy is the sharp decline in ace investors’ interest over the last quarter: Rekha Jhunjhunwala holdings declined from 7.06 percent in March 2025 to 2.94 percent in June 2025, a decline of 4.12 percentage points.

Nazara Tech reported a significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year rise of around 95 percent from Rs. 266.2 crores in Q4 FY24 to Rs. 520.2 crores in Q4 FY25. Similarly, its net profit increased during the same period from Rs. 0.18 crores to Rs. 4.07 crores, representing an impressive rise of about 2161 percent YoY.

Nazara Technologies Limited is primarily engaged in the business of providing subscription/download of games/other content through a consumer base in India and worldwide, and support services to group companies.

The company’s offerings in the interactive gaming segment include gamified early learning ecosystems like Kiddopia and Animal Jam, India’s most popular cricket simulation franchise, World Cricket Championship (WCC), and a wide portfolio of casual games distributed through telco partnerships in many emerging markets.

Additionally, Nazara controls Datawrkz, a digital ad tech company supporting its portfolio companies and external clients with demand-side user acquisition and supply-side ad monetization services.
