During Thursday’s trading session, shares of a micro-cap company that manufactures and sells control panels and plastic components surged nearly 17 percent on BSE, after reporting Q4 FY25 financial results with a net profit growth of around 1978 percent QoQ and 35 percent YoY.

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 239 crores, the shares of Lakshmi Electrical Control Systems Limited closed in the green at Rs. 972 on BSE, up by nearly 8.5 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 896.1.

According to the latest regulatory filings on the stock exchanges, Lakshmi Electrical Control Systems Limited announced the financial results for Q4 FY25 on Thursday during market hours.

For Q4 FY25, Lakshmi Electrical reported a revenue from operations of Rs. 58 crores, reflecting a growth of around 17 percent QoQ from Rs. 49.4 crores in Q3 FY25, but a year-on-year fall of around 6 percent from Rs. 62 crores in Q4 FY24.

The net profit increased to Rs. 2.7 crores in Q4 FY25, marking a nearly 1978 percent QoQ rise from Rs. 0.13 crores reported in the previous quarter, and around a 35 percent YoY rise compared to Rs. 2 crores in Q4 FY24.

Lakshmi Electrical reported a total segment revenue of Rs. 59.6 crores in Q4 FY25. The Electricals segment was the primary contributor, generating Rs. 52.3 crores, which accounted for 88 percent of the total revenue.

The Plastics segment added Rs. 6 crore, accounting for 10 percent, while Wind Power Generation brought in Rs. 2.4 lakh, making up a marginal 0.04 percent. The remaining 2 percent, amounting to Rs. 1.13 crore, came from Unallocated Income. Further, the company’s Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 4 per equity share of face value of Rs. 10 each (40 percent) for FY25.
