During Monday’s trading session, shares of a fully integrated renewable energy EPC player hit a 20 percent upper circuit, following the announcement of Q4 FY25 results with an EBITDA growth of around 71 percent QoQ and 100 percent YoY.

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 801.8 crores, the shares of Zodiac Energy Limited hit a 20 percent upper circuit at Rs. 531.15 on BSE, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 442.65. The stock has delivered negative returns of more than 19 percent in one year, but has gained by nearly 26 percent in the last one month.

According to the latest regulatory filings on the stock exchanges, Zodiac Energy Limited announced the financial results for Q4 FY25 on Friday after market hours. For Q4 FY25, Zodiac Energy reported a revenue from operations of Rs. 171.3 crores, reflecting a growth of around 64 percent QoQ from Rs. 104.3 crores in Q3 FY25, and a year-on-year rise of about 61 percent from Rs. 106.6 crores in Q4 FY24.

The net profit increased to Rs. 9.4 crores in Q4 FY25, marking a nearly 65 percent QoQ rise from Rs. 5.71 crores reported in the previous quarter, and a growth of around 66 percent YoY from Rs. 5.67 crores in Q4 FY24.

Additionally, EBITDA stood at Rs. 17.6 crores in Q4 FY25, representing a 71 percent QoQ rise from Rs. 10.3 crores reported in Q3 FY24, and a 100 percent YoY growth compared to Rs. 8.8 crores in Q4 FY24. Meanwhile, EBITDA margins stood at 10.28 percent in Q4 FY25, up from 9.9 percent in Q3 FY25 and 8.27 percent recorded in Q4 FY24. In FY25, Zodiac Energy reported a significant expansion in its order book, which reached Rs. 461 crores, reflecting a 320 percent YoY growth. 

The company’s net debt-to-equity ratio rose to 1.81 in FY25, up from 0.86 in FY24, while Return on Equity (RoE) improved to 27.7 percent from 26.2 percent in the previous fiscal. Additionally, the company’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) saw a robust 78 percent YoY growth, increasing from Rs. 7.5 to Rs. 13.4, over the same period.
