The shares of the prominent renewable energy producer gained up to 4 percent in today’s trading session after the company commissioned the first phase of 26.4 MW of its Maiden Wind Power Project in Gujarat.

With a market capitalization of Rs 15,363.18 crore, the shares of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd were trading at Rs 253.90 per share, increasing around 3.05 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 246.25 apiece.

The shares of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd have seen positive movement after commissioning the first phase of its maiden wind power project, located in Shapar, Gujarat. The current commissioning of 26.4 MW is part of the 50 MW ACME Pokhran wind project to be fully commissioned in phases Furthermore, with this milestone, the company’s total operational capacity has increased from 2,705 MW to 2,731.4 MW. Strategically located in one of India’s highest wind resource regions, it is poised to be an important contribution to India’s renewable energy goals.

 Additionally, the project, financed by PFC and built via in-house EPC using Envision 3.3 MW turbines, pools energy at a 33/220 kV station and evacuates it to the Shapar sub-station. Sharing infrastructure with another 100 MW ACME project, it sells power under a 25-year PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.

Financial & operational highlights

Looking forward to the company’s financial performance, revenue increased by 65  percent from Rs 295 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 487 crore in Q4FY25. During the same period, net profits fell by 77 percent from Rs 532 crore to Rs 122 crore.

ACME is advancing projects with secured contracts for BESS (3,600 MWh), power systems, GIS, transformers, turbines, and 130 km of transmission lines. Near commissioning are the 300 MW Sikar solar project (165 MW completed) and the 50 MW Pokhran wind project, with both nearing full operational capacity.
