The shares of the leading electronics system manufacturer gained up to 5 percent after the company had expanded its strategic partnership with Deutsche Aircraft for Cabin Management System (CMS).

With a market capitalization of Rs 3,515.64 crore, the shares of Cyient DLM Ltd were trading at Rs 443.30 per share, increasing around 3.95 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 426.45 apiece.

Reason for Rise

The share of Cyient DLM Ltd has seen positive movement after expanding its strategic partnership with Deutsche Aircraft, a prominent German regional aircraft manufacturer. Through this collaboration, Cyient DLM will undertake the design, development, and manufacturing of the Cabin Management System (CMS) for the D328eco, a next-generation 40-seater regional turboprop.

Moreover, the partnership for the D328eco enables Deutsche Aircraft to offer a modern CMS—an industry first for this aircraft class. Cyient DLM’s proven design and production capabilities make it an ideal collaborator, reinforcing its leadership in Indian and European aerospace and advancing next-gen aviation technology.

Financial Performance

The company reported an increase of 38 percent YoY in revenue from operations from Rs 321 crore in Q3FY24 to Rs 444 crore in Q3FY25. Their Net profits decreased by 38 percent YoY from Rs 18 Crore to Rs 11 crore over the same period.

Ratio analysis

The company’s critical ratios show that the return on equity decreased from 16.03 percent in FY22-23 to 6.73 percent in FY23-24, while the return on capital employed decreased from 20.75  percent to 10.95 percent. The net profit margin (NPM) for fiscal year 23-24 is 5.13 percent.
