The share of this ethanol producer gained upto 19 percent in today’s trading session after the company scheduled a meeting, inter alia, to consider and approve a stock split. With a market capitalization of Rs 92.43 crore, the shares of Kesar Enterprises Ltd were trading at Rs 91.70 per share, increasing around 16.61 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 78.64 apiece.

The shares of Kesar Enterprises Ltd have seen bullish movement after announcing a board meeting on July 24, 2025, to consider key corporate actions, including an increase in authorised capital, stock split, and reclassification of share capital. These proposed changes signal potential value unlocking and have sparked positive investor sentiment.

Looking forward to the company’s financial performance, revenue decreased by 65 percent from Rs 179 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 63 crore in Q4FY25. Further, during the same time frame, net profit turned into a loss from a profit of Rs 125 crore to a loss of Rs 16 crore.

Kesar Enterprises operates an integrated sugar plant in Baheri, Uttar Pradesh, with a crushing capacity of 7,200 TCD. It also runs a 44 MW cogeneration power plant and a distillery unit producing 50,000 kiloliters of industrial alcohol per day, showcasing its strong, diversified production capabilities across key segments.
