This Infrastructure Stock is in focus after it hit 5 percent Upper Circuit following the reporting of a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) worth Rs.33.21 Crore for projects in West Bengal. 

Share Price Movement

With a market capitalization of Rs. 62 Crore, the stock of Rudra Gas Enterprise opened at Rs. 70, roughly the same level as yesterday’s close, but after opening it made a high of Rs. 73.58 which is also the 5 percent upper circuit mark. 

Order Update

The company has received a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation ( BPCL) for City gas distribution projects at Alipurduar & Coochbehar in the State of West Bengal. The total Contract worth is Rs. 33.21 Crore.

Order / Contract is for, Medium-Density Polyethylene (MDPE) Pipeline laying & associated works (Phase-III) along with Last Mile connectivity (LMC) and Direct Marketing Agency (DMA) activity for City Gas distribution projects. The time period for the complete scope of work awarded is 8 months.

The composition of the contract is in three parts – 

Part-A is for the Cooch Behar-1 location and the total contract value is Rs. 11,64,64,045. Part B is for the Cooch Behar-2 location with a contract value of Rs. 12,60,15,488. Part-C is for Beneswar, Birpara Chowpati with a contract value of Rs. 8,97,03,404.

Financial Highlights

The company reported a 25.14 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 31.62 Crore in H1FY24 to Rs. 39.57 Crore in H1FY25. Their Net profit saw a marginal increase of 3.98 percent from Rs. 2.51  Crore to Rs. 2.61 Crore for the same period.
