With a market capitalization of Rs 960.37 crore, the shares of T.V. Today Network Ltd were trading at Rs 160.95 per share, decreasing around 0.09 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 161.10 apiece.
Reason for Rise
According to the company filing, T.V. Today Network Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Creative Channel Advertising and Marketing for the proposed sale of FM radio broadcasting operations (comprising three FM radio stations in Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata under the frequency 104.8 FM) as a going concern, for Rs 20 crore. The sale is expected to be completed on or before January 2026.

Financial performance
The company’s revenue flipped10%from Rs 262.69 crore in Q3FY24 to Rs 236.76 crore in Q3FY25, while net profit tumbled by 70% from Rs 29.12 crore to Rs 8.73 crore during the same period, reflecting strong financial performance and continued business growth.
Ratio analysis
The company’s critical ratios show that the return on equity decreased from 10.65 percent in FY22-23 to 6.49 percent in FY23-24, while the return on capital employed decreased from 15.51 percent to 9.54 percent. The net profit margin (NPM) for fiscal year 23-24 is 5.92 percent.
