The 2024 United States Grand Prix saw Charles Leclerc take a well-deserved victory, followed by his Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz in second place. Max was promoted to third place after a penalty was issued to Lando Norris. 

Ferrari’s strong 1-2 finish marked one of their best weekends of the season, while the race once again showcased COTA’s mix of strategy, speed, and unpredictable drama.

Ahead of the 2025 United States Grand Prix, Austin is set for a heatwave, with weekend temperatures reaching around 32-33°C (89-91°F). Sunny skies are expected on Friday and Saturday, while Sunday has a slight chance of rain in the evening (24-30%). The hot conditions will put tyres, drivers’ stamina and brakes under pressure, also the FIA may issue a warning for extreme heat.
