The United States Tennis Association (USTA) announced a compensation of $90 million for the 2025 US Open. It is claimed to be “the largest purse in tennis history” after a 20 per cent increase in total prize money from the previous record of $75 million in 2024.

The winner of the Men’s and Women’s singles will win $5 million each, representing the biggest single payout among the four Grand Slams. This is a 39% increase from last year’s prize money, where the winners were awarded $3.6 million each. This year, Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka will take home this gigantic prize money.

2025 US Open Men’s/Women’s Doubles Prize Money
The winner of the Men’s and Women’s doubles will receive $1 million per team. This is a 33% increase from last year’s prize money, where the winners were awarded $750,000 per team. This year, Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos will take home the money for their Men’s doubles victory, and Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe the same for their Women’s doubles victory.
