The shares of a Micro-Cap company, specializing in providing turnkey services in water and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal are in focus upon receiving a work order worth Rs. 183 Crores from the UP Jal Nigam (Urban).
With the market capitalisation of Rs. 3,380 Crores, the shares of EMS Limited rose up to 2% making a high of Rs 610 per share from its previous closing price of Rs 598 per share.
EMS Limited has announced through stock exchange filing that it has been declared the lowest bidder (L-1) by UP Jal Nigam (Urban) for a significant infrastructure project valued at approximately ₹183.81 crore (excluding GST).
The contract involves the construction of various components under the Fatehpur Sewerage and Sewage Treatment Scheme (Zone-1) in District Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. This is a domestic project with a completion timeline of 24 months.
EMS Limited is a multi-disciplinary EPC company, headquartered in Delhi, that specializes in providing turnkey services in water and wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal.
EMS provides complete, single-source services from engineering and design to construction and installation of water, wastewater, and domestic waste treatment facilities.
EMS has also evolved into one of the leading Electrical contractors and provides EPC services for building and road works, and has delivered large-scale projects to clients successfully.
The company’s revenue increased by 21.8 percent from Rs. 793 crore in FY24 to Rs. 966 crore in FY25. Additionally, the net profit grew by 20.26 percent to Rs 184 Crores in FY25 from Rs 153 Crores in FY24.
EMS Limited holds a robust order book valued at Rs 2,236.43 crore. The majority of the orders 75% are in the water and wastewater segment, followed by 19% in building works and 6% in power projects.
The stock delivered an ROE and ROCE of 20.7 percent and 26.6 percent respectively, and is currently trading at a P/E of 18.35x as compared to its industry peers of 25.57x. The FIIs decreased their stake from 2.78% in FY24 to 0.19% in FY25
