Synopsis: Government of Singapore exited stakes in Ashok Leyland Ltd,Eicher Motors Ltd,  Triveni Turbine Ltd, Eternal  Ltd and two other stocks making its total holding to nil in Q1 FY27, signalling portfolio reshuffling

The Government of Singapore has either completely exited its stake or holds less than one percent stake in these six listed Indian companies, signalling a portfolio reshuffle by the sovereign investor. While such exits often attract investor attention, they do not necessarily reflect the underlying business performance, as institutional investors regularly rebalance their holdings based on strategy, valuations, and investment objectives.

Ashok Leyland Ltd

Ashok Leyland is one of India’s biggest makers of commercial vehicles, which operates under the Hinduja Group of companies. This organization makes trucks, buses, light commercial vehicles, defense mobility products, and power solutions. The company has a wide presence both locally and internationally, with its operations extending to more than 50 countries.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 88,695 Crores, the shares of Ashok Leyland Ltd were trading at around Rs. 151 per share which is 30 percent discount from its 52 week high of Rs. 215 per share. The Government of Singapore held a 1.57% stake in the company as of Q4 FY26.

Eicher Motors Ltd

Eicher Motors is one of the most prominent auto manufacturers of India that manufactures the luxurious brand of motorcycles named Royal Enfield. The company has also a notable reputation in the area of commercial vehicles due to its joint venture with the Volvo Group, VE Commercial Vehicles.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 2,09,853 Crores, the shares of Eicher Motors Ltd were trading at around Rs. 7,645 per share which is 7 percent discount from its 52 week high of Rs. 8,233 per share. The Government of Singapore held a 1.07% stake in the company as of Q4 FY26.  

Triveni Turbine Ltd

Triveni Turbine is one of the major companies of India that manufacture steam turbines which are utilized for captive and renewable power generation. The company provides its services in various sectors like sugar, cement, steel, textile, and chemicals industry. Triveni Turbine also exports its machinery to over 80 countries.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 19,477 Crores, the shares of Triveni Turbine Ltd were trading at around Rs. 613 per share which is 22 percent discount from its 52 week high of Rs. 788  per share. The Government of Singapore held a 1.1% stake in the company as of Q4 FY26.

Eternal Ltd

Introduction Eternal Limited is an Indian technology company that runs digital consumer services in the realms of food delivery, quick commerce, and business-to-business food delivery. Originally named Zomato, the organization has a variety of popular platforms, such as Zomato, Blinkit, Hyperpure, and District, that serve many customers, merchants, and delivery partners in India.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 2,70,210 Crores, the shares of Eternal Ltd were trading at around Rs. 280 per share which is 24 percent discount from its 52 week high of Rs. 368  per share. The Government of Singapore held a 1.11% stake in the company as of Q4 FY26. However, its shareholding stood at nil in the Q1 FY27 shareholding pattern 

Delhivery Ltd

Delhivery is one of the largest logistics and supply chain companies in India. The company offers express parcel services, freight services, warehousing, international logistics services, and supply chain solutions. The logistics company caters to the needs of various industries including e-commerce, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, and manufacturing among others.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 34,681 Crores, the shares of Delhivery Ltd were trading at around Rs. 463 per share which is 11 percent discount from its 52 week high of Rs. 524 per share.  The Government of Singapore held a 1.21% stake in the company as of Q4 FY26. However, its shareholding stood at nil in the Q1 FY27 shareholding pattern 

Varun Beverages Ltd

Varun Beverages is among the biggest franchisees of PepsiCo in the world and a prominent beverages firm in India. It is involved in the production and distribution of carbonated beverages, juices, packaged drinking water, and sports drinks through the PepsiCo brand range.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 1,54,900 Crores, the shares of Varun Beverages Ltd were trading at around Rs. 458 per share which is 18 percent discount from its 52 week high of Rs. 556  per share. The Government of Singapore held a 1.37% stake in the company as of Q4 FY26.
