LT Stock is in focus as it has received a Large Order from two different sources in the Building & Factories Business Vertical from the Andhra Pradesh Government and CPWD Delhi.
With a market capitalization of Rs. 4,93,804 Crore, the stock of Larsen & Toubro opened at Rs. 3,587, around the same level as yesterday’s close, and after opening, it made a high of Rs. 3,606, up 0.54 percent. Additionally, the Yearly return for the stock is 9 percent, and the past 5-year return is an impressive 312 percent.
Order Update
The company has secured an order in the EPC (Engineering, procurement, & Construction) mode in the B&F (Buildings & Factories) vertical from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD). The Order is for the Construction of Common Central Secretariat buildings 6 & 7 in New Delhi. The Project encompasses two buildings of 1 basement + 2 podiums + upper ground + 6 floors configurations. Additionally, the operation & maintenance for this project has been granted to L&T for the period of 5 years.
Another Order in the B&F (Buildings & Factories) vertical has been given by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the design & construction of the State Legislative Assembly, where the Assembly building will have one basement + ground + 3 floors configuration. Both the projects have to be executed within 18 months, and the total order value of both the combined projects is in the range of Rs. 2,500 to Rs 5,000 crores.

The company reported a 10.90 percent YoY increase in revenue from Rs. 67,079 Crore in Q4FY24 to Rs. 74,392 Crore in Q4FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 15.03 percent in revenue from Rs. 64,668 Crore in the previous quarter.
Their Net profit saw an increase of 22.80 percent YoY from Rs. 5,013 Crore to Rs. 6,156 Crore for the same period. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 54.90 percent in Net profit from Rs. 3,974 Crore in the previous quarter.
