During Thursday’s trading session, shares of a company in the business of electrical machinery for indian railways and allied products hit a 2 percent upper circuit on BSE, following the announcement of H2 FY25 results with a net profit growth of around 73 percent HoH and 106 percent YoY.
With a market capitalisation of Rs. 795 crores, the shares of Concord Control Systems Limited opened in the green to hit a 2 percent upper circuit at Rs. 1,261.75 on BSE, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 1,237.05. The stock has delivered positive returns of around 74 percent in one year, and has gained by more than 14 percent in the last one month.
What’s the News
For H2 FY25, Concord Control Systems reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 74.7 crores, reflecting a growth of around 50 percent HoH from Rs. 49.7 crores in H1 FY25, and a year-on-year rise of about 113 percent from Rs. 35 crores in H2 FY24.
The net profit increased to Rs. 14.4 crores in H2 FY25, marking a nearly 73 percent HoH rise from Rs. 8.3 crores reported in H1 FY25, and an increase of around 106 percent YoY to Rs. 7 crores in H2 FY24.
Additionally, EBITDA stood at Rs. 15 crores in H2 FY25, representing a 7 percent rise from Rs. 14 crores reported in H1 FY25, as well as a 67 percent rise compared to Rs. 9 crores in H2 FY24. Meanwhile, EBITDA margins contracted to 20 percent in H2 FY25, down from 28 percent in H1 FY25 and 26 percent in H2 FY24.
Shareholding Pattern
As per the March 2025 shareholding pattern, the Promoters hold a 67.06 percent stake in the company, while Retail Investors and Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) hold a 32.51 percent and 0.43 percent stake in Concord Control Systems, respectively. The ace investor Mukul Mahavir Agrawal holds a 3.81 percent stake, while Ashish Kacholia holds a 1.21 percent stake in the company.
