The shares of this Navratna PSU engaged in the business of project development and consultancy services were in focus in the day’s trade upon receiving a new domestic work order worth Rs. 354.88 Crores.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 32,252 cr, the shares of NBCC Ltd. were currently trading at Rs. 119 per share; today’s high is Rs. 124.30 per share. NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded a significant work order worth approximately Rs.354.88 crore from FDCM Gorewada Zoo Limited. The scope of work involves Project Management and Supervision Services for the execution of various development components including the African Zoo, Safari Plaza, Animal Hospital, Quarantine Facility, and allied infrastructure.

This project is in the normal course of NBCC’s business as a public sector enterprise specializing in project management consultancy and infrastructure development. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed under NBCC’s Project Management Consultancy (PMC) vertical.

NBCC’s role will ensure quality execution, adherence to timelines, and coordination among multiple stakeholders for the strategic development of Gorewada Zoo, aimed at boosting eco-tourism and conservation initiatives in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The order further reinforces NBCC’s strong portfolio in managing large-scale public infrastructure and environmental projects across India.

NBCC is a Government of India Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The Co. operates in three major segments – Project Management Consultancy, Engineering Procurement & Construction, and Real Estate.

The company undertakes major government infrastructure projects, including housing, hospitals, and urban redevelopment. NBCC also operates through its subsidiaries, which are HSCC, HSCL, and NSL, which serve sectors like healthcare, industrial infrastructure, facility management, and others.

NBCC Ltd. reported a robust consolidated order book of Rs.1,20,533 crore, showcasing the company’s strong project pipeline. The major contributions came from  NBCC (Standalone): Rs.1,04,255 crore, HSCC: Rs.9,280 crore, HSCL: Rs.6,815 crore, NSL: Rs.183 crore.

This diversified order book underscores NBCC’s continued leadership and growing presence in infrastructure and project management across its group companies. On a consolidated basis, revenue climbed 15.68 percent to Rs. 12,038.57 crores, EBITDA improved by 21.55 percent to Rs. 624.05 crores, with a slight rise in margin from 4.93 percent to 5.18 percent. PBT jumped by 35.18 percent to Rs. 755.02 crore, and PAT increased by 34.52 percent to Rs. 557.42 crores.
