High Promoter holding is considered as one of the most important factors depicting their confidence in the company and its operations. Mr. Mukul Agrawal owns shares in this small-cap stock which has a high promoter holding of more than 50 percent. 

De Nora India Limited is a company based in India that is involved in the process of designing, manufacturing, and supplying coatings, electrodes, etc. ‘Electrode Technologies’ and ‘Water Technologies’ form the company’s two broad segments. 

The company’s shares traded in the red today and closed at Rs 1,794.10, slipping around 0.80 percent compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 1,809. 

Keeping a purview of six months, the scrip has delivered multibagger returns of 170 percent. It means that if someone would have invested Rs 1 Lakh into the stock, it would have converted to Rs 2.70 Lakhs within a period 

Having a look at the shareholding pattern data for the quarter ending March 2023, the Promoters hold a huge stake in the company which has remained constant at 53.68 percent. 

Ace Investor Mukul Agrawal, one of the Non-Institutional Investors, bought a fresh stake in the company and currently holds 72,785 equity shares equating to a 1.37 percent stake. The investment’s current value stands at Rs 13.05 crores. 

Digging into the standalone financials reported by the company, the operating revenues have stayed uniform during the past two financial years which is Rs 74 crores. 

Despite the same, the company has been successful in increasing its net profit numbers from Rs 15 crores during FY21-22 to Rs 20 crores in FY22-23. Due to the same, the company has reported decent growth in the net profit margins which went up from 20.83 percent during FY21-22 to 27.55 percent in FY22-23. 

In addition to the above, the profitability metrics such as return on equity (ROE) and return on capital employed (ROCE) have improved with the former increasing from 18.86 percent during FY21-22 to 19.94 percent in FY22-23, and the latter, moving from 25.77 percent to 26.61 percent.
