Titagarh Railsystem Ltd
With a market capitalization of Rs. 12,320 crores, the shares of Titagarh Railsystem Ltd started Tuesday’s trading session flat at Rs. 985.20 compared to its previous close at Rs. 979.80. The share hit a low of Rs. 963 making a loss of around 2 percent and currently trading at Rs. 967.95 apiece.
In six months, the shares have given its stakeholders a multibagger return of 106 percent. For example, if someone had invested Rs. 1 lakh in these shares six months ago, then, the worth of these shares would be Rs. 2.6 lakhs now.
According to the BSE data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), have increased their stake by 10 percent in the company during Q2 FY24. The FIIs currently hold 2,14,19,011 equity shares equivalent to a 16.85 percent stake in this company.
Looking at the company’s financials, the revenue increased marginally by around 3 percent from Rs. 911 crores during Q1 FY24 to Rs. 935 crores Q2 FY24. In addition, the net profit increased by around 15 percent from Rs. 62 crores to Rs. 71 crores during the same timeframe.
Coming onto the important financial ratios, the return on equity (RoE) was at 13.9 percent during FY22-23. Furthermore, the return on capital employed was recorded at 17.6 percent during the same period.
