The shares of this Irrigation system manufacturer gained up to 4.5 percent after the company received the order for the Supply of Micro Irrigation Systems for 19 Ha worth Rs 2.45 crores. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 335.79 Crores. Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd, On Monday, The shares were trading at Rs 119.20 a share, a decrease of 1.04 percent from the previous closing price. 

The Office of the Chief Engineer’s Micro Irrigation Program awarded Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd an order for the supply of micro irrigation systems for 19 hectares. The order is valued at Rs 2.45 crores, and the company has 12 months to carry it out. 

Looking into the company’s performance, Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd’s revenue increased by 119 percent from Rs 26.3 Crore in Q2FY23 to Rs 57.74 Crore in Q2FY24. During the same period, net loss decreased from Rs 8.26 crore to Rs 0.68 Crore. 

Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd’s capex stands in the current financial year at Rs 29,38,000. 

Mahindra’s Agri (subsidiary of Mahindra EPC Irrigation) Business has grown to become one of India’s largest grape exporters and has even launched several new products and brands including India’s first premium fresh fruit brand Saboro, along with Saboro Dairy, NuPro Mustard Oil, and NuPro Pulses. 

Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd and Top Greenhouses Ltd, Israel, entered into a Joint Venture (JV) arrangement in F’19. Both Joint Venture partners have the chance to grow protected cultivation and capitalize on each other’s strengths through the JV. 

For the entire operating year of F-23, the JV reported a sales turnover of Rs. 2.04 Cr. To better serve the small and marginal farmer segment, the JV is concentrating on enhancing its value proposition, finding new channel partners, and creating new business models like Low-Cost Solutions. 

Every stakeholder benefits from the company’s micro-irrigation solutions. The farmer gains from a 20–30% increase in crop yield in addition to cost savings on labor for de-weeding, among other incurred expenses. 

Revenue for Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd. is Rs 210 crore from domestic sources and Rs 0.28 crore from foreign sources. Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd. engages in the business of producing and distributing irrigation systems.
