Small-cap Infra stock engaged in the business of constructing projects such as metro, tunnels, roads and many more jumped 10 percent in the day’s trade after it received a project worth Rs. 583 Crores. 

At 12:02 p.m. the shares of J Kumar Infraprojects Limited were trading at Rs. 482, up 9.60 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 439.80 and its market capitalization is Rs. 3,650 Crores. 

J Kumar Infraprojects Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance(LOA) for the construction of 4 Lane Elevated Corridor on Grand Southern Trunk Road on Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Mode from The Superintending Engineer, Highway Department, Construction and Maintenance, Chennai. The total contract cost of the project is Rs. 582.68 Crores and the period allocated for the project is 24 months. 

As of Q2FY24, it generated 27 percent of its revenue from Elevated Corridors/Flyovers, 24 percent from Elevated Metro, 23 percent from Underground Metro, 10 percent from Civil and other works, 8 percent from Roads/Road Tunnels, and 7 percent from Waterworks and 1 percent others. Based on Geography 65 percent from Maharashtra, 32 percent from NCR, and 3 percent from Gujarat. 

It has a healthy order book of Rs. 16,447 Crores and its breakup is as follows, 31 percent Elevated Corridors/Flyovers, 27 percent Roads and road Tunnels, 17 percent Elevated Metro, 15 percent Underground Metro, 8 percent water works, 2 percent Civil&others. 

The order book geographical breakup is as follows 60 percent from Maharashtra, 22 percent from Tamilnadu, 12 percent from NCR, 4 percent from Gujarat, 1 percent from Karnataka, and 1 percent from Uttar Pradesh 

The company’s revenue from operations grew 19.16 percent from Rs. 3,527.2 Crores in FY22 to Rs. 4,203.14 Crores in FY23, accompanied by increasing profits of Rs. 205.88 Crores to Rs. 274.39 Crores. 

J Kumar Infraprojects Limited is engaged in the business of contracts for various infrastructure projects including Transportation Engineering, Irrigation Projects, Civil Construction, and Piling Work, etc, like metro projects, roads, flyovers, and many more.
