Smallcap stock engaged in the business of retail trade of garments, textiles, accessories and many more hit a 5 percent upper circuit in the day’s trade upon declaring muted Q2FY24 results. 

Price Action 

With a market capitalization of Rs. 4,241 Crores, the shares of V2 Retail Limited hit a 5 percent lower circuit in the day’s trade at Rs. 1,226.20 per equity share, from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 1,290.70. 

Q2FY25 Results 

Its Revenue from operations grew by 64 percent YoY from Rs. 231.31 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 380 Crores in Q2FY25 and it declined by 9 percent QoQ from Rs. 415.03 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 380 Crores in Q2FY25. 

Its Net losses decreased YoY from Rs. 5.69 Crores in Q2FY24 to Rs. 1.93 Crores in Q2FY25 and on a QoQ basis from a profit of Rs. 16.33 Crores in Q1FY25 it has generated a loss of Rs. 1.93 Crores in Q2FY25.

V2 Retail Limited is engaged in the business of retail trade of garments, textiles and accessories. The Company offers a portfolio of products, including apparel and lifestyle products. It is focused on northern and eastern India. It caters to the neo middle class group of population living in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. 

Its product portfolio mix includes men’s wear, such as upper, lower, occasion wear, winter wear, sportswear, formal and casual, ladies wear, such as ethnic wear, upper, lower, occasion wear, winter wear and sportswear, kids wear, such as boy, girls, infants and winter wear, and lifestyle, such as deodorants, wallets, sunglasses and ladies purse, among others. 

As of Q2FY25, V2 Retail Limited has 139 stores and out of the total sales generated Men’s wear derived 40 percent, Ladies wear 29 percent, Kids wear 22 percent and Lifestyle 9 percent.
