With a market capitalization of 12,810 Crores on Friday, the shares of Transformers & Rectifiers India Limited rose by 5 percent making a high of Rs 896.20 compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 853.55.

What happened

Transformers & Rectifiers India Limited specializes in the manufacturing of transformers and power equipment has fixed Wednesday, 14th February 2025 as the record date for determining the eligible members for the issue of bonus equity shares and 17th February 2025 as the deemed date for allotment.

The company will issue 15 crores bonus equity shares in a 1:1 ratio, where one fully paid-up equity share will be issued for every existing one equity share held, with a face value of Rs. 1.

Transformers and Rectifiers Limited (TARIL) plays a key role in the power sector by providing reliable solutions for power transmission and distribution. The company manufactures a wide range of products, including transformers, reactors, and related equipment, designed to meet the demands of high-voltage systems, ranging from low to ultra-high voltage applications. 

Product-wise Orderbook segment

As of the end of Q3FY25, the unexecuted order book stands at Rs. 3,686 crores, with power transformers accounting for Rs. 2,431.68 crores (66 percent), reactors for Rs. 994.22 crores (27 percent), and special duty transformers for Rs. 257.02 crores (7 percent).

Financials 

The company’s revenue rose by 53 percent from Rs. 371.02 crores to Rs. 568.32 crores in Q3FY24-25. Meanwhile, Net profit rose from Rs. 15.57 crores to Rs. 54.73 crores in Q3FY24-25.
