This small-cap stock engaged in textiles, real estate development, shipyards, power generation, warehousing, and green energy distribution across India, jumped 5 percent after the company reported strong December quarterly results with a 737 percent YoY increase in net profit.

Stock Price Movement:

With a market capitalization of Rs. 13,572.68 crores, the share of Swan Energy Limited has reached an intraday high of Rs. 462 per equity share, rising nearly around 4.73 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 441.15. Since then, the stock has retreated and is currently trading at Rs. 434.35 per equity share. 

Q3 FY25 Result Walkthrough:

Coming into the quarterly results of Swan Energy Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 19.89 percent YOY, from Rs. 1,591.68 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 1,908.19 crore in Q3 FY25, and grew by 85.05 percent QoQ from Rs. 1,031.19 crore in Q2 FY25.

The company generated revenue of 0.99 percent (Rs. 18.81 crore) from the textile segment, 1.59 percent (Rs. 30.32 crore) from the construction segment, 96.04 percent (Rs. 1832.61 crore) from the distribution and development segment, 1.27 percent (Rs. 24.33 crore) from the warehousing segment, and the remaining percent from the shipyard segment in Q3 FY25.

In Q3 FY25, Swan Energy Limited’s consolidated net profit increased by 155.43 percent YOY, reaching Rs. 561.95 crore compared to Rs. 220 crore during the same period last year. As compared to Q3 FY25, the net profit has increased by 737.11 percent, from Rs. 67.13 crore in Q2 FY25.

The basic earnings per share increased by 123.39 percent and stood at Rs. 18.72 as against Rs. 8.38 recorded in the same quarter in the previous year 2024.

Swan Energy is involved in the textiles, real estate, and energy sectors. It manufactures and markets various fabrics, develops real estate, and operates an LNG port terminal in Gujarat. The company also engages in petrochemical manufacturing, power generation, and warehousing. Additionally, Swan Energy has expanded into green energy and distribution, with a strong presence across India.
