The price of an indian Private sector mid-cap bank has surged 6 percent from the previous closing price as the company’s financial results show a net profit growth of 36 percent YOY and Revenue growth of 51 percent.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 45,662 crores on Wednesday, the shares of AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. were trading at a CMP of Rs 651.45, which is 6 percent higher than its previous day’s closing price of Rs 613.80.

What Happened

AU Small Finance Bank Ltd, an Indian mid-cap private sector bank, has announced its results for the Financial year ‘25. Its Revenue grew by 51 percent YoY from Rs. 2830 Crores in Q4FY24 to Rs. 4271 Crores in Q4FY25, and it grew by 4 percent QoQ from Rs. 4113 Crores in Q3FY25 to Rs. 4271 Crores in Q4FY25.

Its Net Profit grew by 36 percent YoY from Rs. 371 Crores in Q4FY24 to Rs. 504 Crores in Q4FY25, but includes an exponential income worth 76.8 crores obtained from the acquisition

and the merger of Fincare Small Finance Bank Limited with the bank, and excluding this, the YoY growth still stands positive with an increase of 16 percent 

Key Highlights of Q4:

The company’s EPS has also grown by 22 percent YOY from Rs. 5.54 in Q4FY24 to Rs. 6.77 in Q4FY25, but has reduced by 4.5 percent QoQ from Rs. 7.10 in Q3FY25 to Rs. 6.77 in Q4FY25.

The Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation, and Taxes (EBIDT) of the company has grown by 40 percent YOY from Rs.1483 crores in Q4FY24 to Rs 2073 crores in Q4FY25.

The Company had originally obtained its license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as a non-deposit accepting Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC-ND) on November 7, 2000. On 13th April 2017, the name of the Company was changed from Au Financiers (India) Limited to AU Small Finance Bank Limited, and thereafter the Bank commenced its banking operations in  2017
